Introducing the Barns at Polehanger, our newly renovated open-sided rustic barn venue, ready to hire for your memorable event!
Recently restored to provide an inspiring event space, the Barns sit in the magnificent courtyard of the 18th-century farmhouse at Polehanger Farm – offering an impressive backdrop for any occasion.
The Barns has already hosted yoga sessions, a painting class, a celebratory gathering of friends with fairy lights, and numerous countryside photo shoots.
Imagine candles, relaxing music, and a scenic view of the farmhouse on a sunny day. Or a fun evening of laughter, music, drinks, food and crackling firepits in the courtyard. The list is endless and entirely up to you!
Get the Party Started
The venue is ready and waiting for you to design and create your own event. Pick a date and we’ll help you to organise a rustic party to remember. We can provide the fairy lights, the cosy seating and the tables and chairs, then its up to you to decide the finer details and choose who you invite.

We have contacts for flowers, food, private dining, music, photography and transport to the farm. And if your guests need somewhere to stay, you have the option to rent out the six-bedroom luxury farmhouse at Polehanger just across the courtyard (depending on availability).
Your guests also have the option to experience luxury glamping in our beautifully styled cabins, on site at the meadows at Polehanger, just a few minutes walk from the Barns.
Paint 'n' Sip Event Success
The location of the Barns made for a perfect setting for a creative painting workshop in September, run by Jess of Paint and Create Together. A fantastic opportunity to experience a taster of the wonderful world of painting for a hobby and a bit of me-time.
What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than learning how to create a masterpiece, whilst enjoying a slice of cake and a glass of prosecco!
The day started with a welcome drink, followed by aprons on and step-by-step tutoring to explain how to create your very own Peekaboo Bunny artwork to take home. This keen group of artists included a group of friends, a group of colleagues, and a grandparent and their grandchild.

An English Countryside-Styled Photo Shoot
On a late September day, the Barns at Polehanger were the location of choice for an English countryside styled wedding shoot by the talented photographer & videographer Dan of Dan Shoots Weddings.
The black cladded barns and the flowing grasses made the perfect backdrop for an elegant white wedding dress, and the old corrugated barn doors created a rustic vibe.
Finally, the fairy-lit interior of the barn with heritage wooden beams set the scene for a beautiful wedding reception.
